University of South Carolina’s Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing Hosts First Advanced Nuclear Summit

The 2024 Advanced Nuclear Summit, supported by Global to Local and led by The University of South Carolina’s Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing, was successful in accelerating nuclear discussions in the state, building on years of groundwork catalyzed by Google’s nuclear feasibility study. The summit featured discussions between major energy users, utilities, co-ops, SC Office of Regulatory Staff, SC Commerce, nuclear experts, and entrepreneurs. Governor Henry McMaster delivered remarks, as well as military representatives, state legislators, and federal legislative staff.
